It rains, it pours

Been such a rainy week so far, so hard to find good light to explore with. That and you tend to get wet and soggy. Makes me want to dance around the house and sing a rain chant to send the rain away for awhile. Then again, it hasn't been all that hot so far. The trade offs in life one has...

Spending some time working on a few old pictures. I want to update my portfolio this summer and thinking of adding in a couple "different" shots which I like and are my style, but might not be quite what you're used to. We'll see.

Lazy Sunday

Nothing better than a lazy day to do nothing other than catch up on what you were meaning to do the day before.

I'm working on my Inspiration Journal. This is something I started a long time ago as a young girl collecting pictures and things which interested me. And now I'm transfering them into a very informal scrapbook of sorts, just pasted into a journal for easy viewing whenever I'm feeling a lack of creativity.

You can do this too. If you like to cook, tear out new ingredients or pictures of foods which inspire you. Just put them together in an organized fashion and you'll be amazed how proud of yourself you are.

Princess on Canvas.

Showing off the picture I sent off to be turned into a canvas today. This is a new company I'm trying so I hope it comes back looking as gorgeous as it should, however, as always, if the canvas isn't up to my standards for something I'd offer to clients I'll give this as a gift to the parents of the child.
